~ BARBICAN FISH AND CHIPS ~

Nutrition

“We sent a sample of our Fish, Chips & Homemade Mushy Peas off because we feel that the general public need to see that eaten in proportion Fish, Chips and Peas are part of a healthy balanced diet. We are not saying every day is a good thing but once a week can’t be bad for you, it’s been a big part of the Great British diet for decades.”

Fish & Chips consistently receive negative press nationally as a big part of Britain’s ever growing obesity problem. We felt this was unfair and needed to prove our point.

Our fish comes from sustainable fishing grounds like Iceland, Norway and Barents Sea and it is filleted and frozen within 2 or 3 hours of being caught. It’s fresher than fresh. Our fish is deboned and skinned, and the customer has a chunky fillet of fish dipped in our special batter.

We honestly try our hardest to make sure we supply the healthiest possible meal to our customers; we cook as fresh as possible to compliment our product so you get it as it’s meant to be and we top it off with a smile.

Generally speaking, fish and chips is a much healthier meal than you might expect. Check out the facts below – you may be surprised…
